EssentialNET provided our customer with Sandvine and ESSIXPA solutions to help them to understand and be able to troubleshoot thier traffic.
The Sandvine solution is installed in line with the traffic giving the ability to fully understand the traffic profile in great depth as well as being able to take action if required, such as shaping traffic or filtering against IWF.
ESSIXPA has been deployed in a "customer care" format to enable the customer care and support teams web based visibility of subscribers and what they are doing live and historically broken down against key applications. ESSIXPA is also being used on a per subscriber basis to block specific types of traffic (as requested by the subscriber) such as pornography and also the reverse capability for "homework" periods.
